Stephanie Sue Daul, 60, of Libertyville, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated education and unwavering strength. A lifelong educator, Stephanie began her career as a teacher at St. Mary of Annunciation before transitioning to corporate training, where she excelled in instructional design. Her passion for teaching extended beyond her professional life, as she lovingly cared for her parents and forged deep, mentoring relationships with her nieces. For ten years, Stephanie faced cancer with extraordinary courage, refusing to be defined by her illness and inspiring all who knew her. Her natural talent for teaching and her resilient spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
Stephanie is survived by her siblings Steve (Corey) Daul, Michelle De Volder, Nicole (Tom) Keenan and Michael Daul; her nieces Ashley and Allison Daul, Megan (Brandon) Spieler, Hailey Keenan and Mackenzie De Volder; and lifelong friends too many to mention. She is preceded in death by her parents Chuck and Julie.
A celebration of Stephanie's life ceremony will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 17th, at Lakeside Cemetery, Libertyville. Reception to follow at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W Church St, Libertyville, IL 60048. Funeral arrangements by McMurrough Funeral Chapel (847) 362-2626.
