Stephanie Jayne Papproth, age 57, of Belleville, Ill., born March 15, 1964 in Belleville, passed away February 27, 2022 at her home.
Stephanie was a proud and steadfast wife, a loving mother, and a caring grandmother "Momo." She enjoyed spending time with her family and supporting her husband and son with their motorcycle racing. Stephanie had worked as a loan officer and loved her many cats and dogs over the years.
She was preceded in death by her father Billy Joe Wells, her mother Margaret Elaine, nee Radford, Sanderson, her son James Papproth, and father-in-law James L. Papproth.
Surviving are her husband Troy Papproth, of Belleville, whom she married May 23, 1989; her daughter Samantha (Jack) Smith of O'Fallon; step-daughter Brooke (Kevin) Devine of St. Louis; grandchildren Graham Devine, Kyrie and Hayden Smith; brother Andrew Wells; sister Melinda Beck; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Babe Papproth, who was a constant supporter throughout the years, and her in-laws Dawn Tracey, Rhett Papproth, Whitney Wisnasky-Bettorf, and Nicol Adams.
Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.wfh-ofallon.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to American Diabetes Association.
A Celebration of Life will be from 2 – 5 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon. Procession will depart the funeral home at 1 pm, Monday, March 7, 2022 for a Graveside Service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
