Being of Christian faith, Stephanie, age 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 11, 2025 in Beaumont, TX.
She was a graduate of Sulphur High School and attended McNeese State University. Stephanie was a fun, loving spirit who loved life and was devoted to all that knew her. Spending time and making memories with her grandchildren completed her days. She never lost her compassion for music or the enjoyment of her pets.
Survivors include son, James Lawrence Rigsby (Stephanie) of Jennings; daughter, Samantha Rose Rigsby of Lake Charles; sisters, Leslie Smith (Gary) of Lake Charles and Cindy Alderete (Sam) of Pearland, TX; extended family, Casey Prudhomme (Gabe) of Sulphur; grandchildren, Jayden, Orion, Nova, Michael, and Dalton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Donnie Faye Richardson; brother in law, Larry Roach, Jr.; and a niece, Lauren Anne Roach.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Leslie’s home from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
