Stephen Bruno Obituary
Stephen worked for Verizon for 35 years as an installer and repair man. He was a member of the Army Reserve during the Vietnam era. Stephen had a passion for driving and had a CB radio handle "Disco Duck" where he would communicate with all the truck drivers during his adventures. Stephen knew just about everyone and if he did not know you, he spoke to you like he knew you forever. After his retirement, he joined several pool and billiard clubs, which became a talent of his. Stephen was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed watching sports. He had a passion for dogs, enjoyed trips with the camper and enjoying the scenery. Stephen will be remembered for his kind and caring personality. He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Loving husband of 50 years to Deborah Bruno (Shea) of Middleborough. Loving father of Amanda Perrault and her husband Daniel of West Bridgewater and Christopher Bruno and his wife Erin of Holbrook. Cherished Papa of Ryan and Kaylee Perrault and Patrick "PJ" Bruno. Caring son of the late Frank and Mary Bruno (DelBene). Also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Stephen Bruno may be made to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in support of the Cancer Outcomes Research and Education Program (CORE). I knew Stephen for many years as my friend, co-worker and his manager later in life at Verizon and he was always the same when he met you with that smile and voice. My deepest condolences to his family and love ones.
