Stephen Earl Collins

Mr. Stephen Earl Collins, age 71, of Palmetto, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mr. Collins was born on May 6, 1954, in Albertville, Al. He was the son of the late Lelsie Easter Collins and Doris Jean Collins. Mr. Collins was a retired forklift operator and was of the Church of God faith. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and playing the guitar, but most of all as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Lois Smith Collins, children and their spouses, Stephanie Collins, Christopher Collins, and Andrew Collins (Sidney); grandchildren, Jamie Collins, Michael Collins, Meadow Collins, Cobin Collins, Aiden Collins, Alexis Collins, and Miles Collins; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Collins, Roger Collins, Allan Collins, Timothy Collins; sister, Debra Collins; nieces, nephews, and other family also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Stephen Earl Collins will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
