Steve was on my staff and was ambitious and dependable and had a great sense of humor. I remember when I hired him he said he would give me a few years in Human Resources if I would let him pursue a career in information services. I agreed but almost 30 yrs later he was still in HR. He loved the challenge & people. Rest in peace

I met Steve back in 2001 at Havana's. He was a part-time bouncer there. I was there alone most times and he kept an eye on me, like a big brother would. We became friends over the years and I also had the pleasure of getting to know his wife Sally. A few years ago I moved into the condo above theirs, something I never imagined happening but I'm so glad it did. We enjoyed dinners, great glasses of wine, movie nights and my dog Molly and he fell for each other hard! It breaks my heart that neither of us will see him again. Luckily, I have a lot of happy memories to reflect on. I will miss the smell of his good cooking, and the texts offering me up a slice of warm bread, his kind and generous spirit will live on forever. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. Cindy Celia
