Stephen "Steve" Hudson Galloway

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. Stephen "Steve" Hudson Galloway.

Steve age 68, originally from Hartsville, passed away at his home on Friday morning surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Hartsville, the son of the late Freddie Hudson and Berdie Williamson Galloway. 

He worked for 25 years at Westrock in Florence, retiring in 2012.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle while he was able.  He loved spending time on the water, he lived life to the fullest, enjoying all of the times spent with his loving family and beautiful granddaughters.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 36 years, Debora Galloway, Florence; daughter, Jordan Germond, her husband Josh, Florence; granddaughters, Maycee Lake Germond, Emma Hudson Germond; sister, Angela Hardee, her husband Gene, Cherry Grove.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Tina G. Herring.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Sunday from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Rev. Danny Holley will officiate.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
