Stephen E. Terry, 73, passed away October 30, 2025, at Brickyard Health Care in Tell City, IN.
He was born on November 3, 1951, in Tell City, the son of Glenn E. and Vera (Caslow) Terry, who precede him in death.
After graduating from Indiana Academy in Cicero, IN, Steve went on to obtain a degree at a technical college in Louisville, KY. He was united in marriage to Suzanne Jewell on December 26, 1971.
Steve was a self-employed carpenter, had done electrical work in Winchester and was a jack of all trades. When able to attend, he was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a member of the rescue squad, Anderson Township Volunteer Fire Department, and EMS for over 25 years. Steve enjoyed woodworking and carving.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Suzanne Terry; children, Rebekah (Jim) Dixon, John Terry, and Elizabeth (J.D.) Pyle all of Tell City; a sister, Medrith (Dale) Adams of Portland, TN; and grandson, Caleb Pyle.
Funeral Services will be held at 10am Monday, November 3, 2025, at Seventh Day Adventist Church with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2pm to 7pm on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the funeral home and on Monday from 9am until service time at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tell City, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to the 3 Angels Broadcasting Network.
