Stephen Michael Zanowski

Stephen Michael Zanowski, 56, of Summerville, formally of Quincy, MA, husband of Pamela (Deskins) Zanowski, and loving father to Zachary and Kaitlyn, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6 to 8 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main St, Summerville, SC. A funeral mass will begin at 12:30PM on Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Ave, Summerville, SC.
Steve was born on December 6, 1966, in Boston, MA, son of Helen (Daly) Zanowski and the late Stephen Zanowski. He was the son-in-law of David and Elaine Deskins; brother-in-law of Susan and Brian Collett and the uncle to Will and Meghan Collett, as well as, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Steve and Pam enjoyed 40 years of friendship and over 25 years of marriage. He was a much beloved husband, father, son and friend and will be deeply missed. Steve could not have been prouder of his children, Zach and Kaitlyn who have inherited so many of Steve's amazing qualities. Steve's family meant the world to him and they were always put first. Steve was special and one of a kind. He was hard working, generous, compassionate and always put others before himself. He was quick witted with a great sense of humor and laugh that was accompanied by his dimpled smile. Steve loved golf, the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots, Tennessee basketball, and unfortunately, the New York Yankees. He loved Bruce Springsteen and was also able to convince Pam to take him to see him 10 times for the last time. Steve's greatest joy was spending time with his family.
