Steve Douglas Obituary
Steve Douglas, 66, native of Clewiston, Florida and resident of Raceland, Louisiana passed away on October 15, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, happily married for 46 beautiful years, Ruth Douglas, his daughters, Brandy Theriot (Jason), Candi Clark (Brylin), and Ciji Cain (Leroy); his child not by blood but by love, Josh Folse; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonny and Nellie Douglas; his 3 brothers, John, Virgil, and Jimmy; his 2 sisters, Marie and Virginia; and his great-grandchild, Kacenn Robert.
Steve dedicated 28 years of his life working in the oil field, which he loved every second of. He was a family man. He loved spending time with his family especially his kids and grandkids. If Steve’s house was full he was a happy man. He was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
The family would like to give thanks to his devoted caretaker, for the last 5 years, Sarah Peltier. Thank you for tending to his every need and helping him out in any way, shape, or form. Your dedication did not go unnoticed.
