Steve Evans Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Pauline Evans; grandparents, Albert and Birdie Everhart and SJ and Alice Evans; siblings, Lonzo Evans, IH Evans, Albert Cecil, Georgie Ruth, and infant baby.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Tina Evans of Bulls Gap; daughter, Tiffany (Isaac) Gragg of Midway; step-daughters, Ashley (Adam) Steele-Gosnell of Bulls Gap and Taylor (Ray) Prater of Greeneville; grandchildren, Bryson, Kayleigh, and Bryleigh Steele, Ryan and Emma Prater; sisters, Patti (John) Reade of Greeneville and Genny Evans of Greeneville.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Amedysis Hospice and nurses Shelly and Kathy for all the wonderful care they provided.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Phillippi Cemetery located in Bulls Gap with Rev. Donnie Bible officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be: Bryson Steele, Isaac Gragg, Adam Gosnell, Jeff Sexton, Christopher Sexton, and Freddie Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be: Cecil Mays, Johnny Mays, Billy Evans, and Ray Prater. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.christiansells.com
