Steve Glover

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family of Steve Glover announce his passing on December 8, 2023 in Tacoma, WA from complications after heart surgery.
Steve was born on October 27, 1959 to Rex and Irma Lupita Glover. He grew up in Las Cruces, attended Las Cruces High School and New Mexico State University where he was a member of the TKE Fraternity.
Steve was a thirty-year resident of Seattle, WA where he was the owner-broker of LynnMac Commercial Real Estate Agency. He will be remembered for his love and compassion for others. In his home he made sure that his family and friends knew "Mi Casa es Su Casa." They often gathered to be treated to his gourmet meals, to his hilarious and contagious sense of humor and to his joy in making them fill special and treasured. His Seattle friends soon became addicted to his red and green enchiladas made from "imported" Hatch Chile. Throughout his life he rescued many dogs and his sweet Ruby is missing him now.
Steve is survived by partner Mike Carlson, mother Irma Lupita Glover, brother John Patrick Glover, sister Teresa Glover, Susie Barela (Martin) who was like a sister, aunt Rosie Maynez, uncle Jack Glover, uncle and aunt Paul and Cindy Glover, nephew Justin Glover (Dorothy) and their children Joseph and Grace, niece Taylor Glover Garrison (Chris) and their children Mason and Emilia, and by many cherished cousins and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Rex Glover, paternal grandparents George and Emily Glover, maternal grandparents Luis and Josefa Maynez.
At his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
