Steve Llewellyn Guyton, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, was called to his eternal home on July 29, 2025. Born on July 31,1951, in Lumberton, North Carolina. Steve's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith. His final days were spent surrounded by the love and warmth of his family in Georgia.
Steve's legacy is one of enduring love and commitment, particularly evident in his marriage to Kimberly Guyton. Together, they created a life rich in love and laughter, and their partnership was of strength and devotion. Steve took immense pride in his role as a father to Alexander Stephen (Katharine Elise) Guyton, Zachary Joseph (Abigail Marie) Guyton, and in the joys of being grandfather with his cherished grandchildren, Katharine Olivia Zonneveld, Stella Rae Guyton, Scarlett Llewelyn Guyton, Sophie Josephine Guyton, Autumn Rose Guyton Elizabeth Mae Guyton, and Zoey Grace Guyton.
In addition he is survived by Mother Betty Guyton, Brother Bruce (Doris) Guyton, Sister-in-law Lori Guyton. His family circle extended to include his in-laws Kenneth (Patricia) Dalton, Michael (Heidi) Hutfles, James (Patty) Hutfles, Sheri Hutfles, Kenny (Brenda) Dalton and Carrie (Matt) Dalton all of whom he held dear. He is proceeded in death by his Father Huston Guyton, Brother Davey Lee Guyton, and Sister Sandra Kay Guyton.
Steve attended Coventry High School and Ohio State University, he combined his education with his innate talent to become a master carpenter and a respected Project Superintendent for custom-built homes in the Metro Atlanta area. His craftsmanship was not just a profession but a calling, as he brought joy to families by creating their dream homes with his skilled hands and creative vision.
Steve's Christian faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and embracing him with a sense of purpose and compassion. He was a man who lived his beliefs, extending kindness and warmth to everyone he met. His friendly demeanor, loving nature, and humorous spirit brought light to many lives.
His interests were as rich and varied as his personality. Steve cherished gatherings with his children and grandchildren, where laughter was abundant. He found solace and joy in visiting family in Ohio, Florida, and South Carolina. A lover of nature, the beach, a book in hand, or indulging in his passion for bird watching.
Steve's life was love of humor, kindness, and faith. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide his family and all who knew him. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
As we bid farewell, we are reminded of the words of Scripture: "Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your master." (Matthew 25:21). Steve's life was indeed well-lived, full of good work, laughter, and abiding love. May he rest in peace in the loving embrace of our Lord, where he will watch over us until we meet again.
The memorial service to celebrate the life of Steve Llewellyn Guyton will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 @ 11:00 AM at Tom M. Wages, Snellville Chapel,
Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of service 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A private family Inurnment at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens,
Snellville, GA . will be held at a later time.
