Steve Hulen, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024, in Marlow, Oklahoma. Born on January 31, 1963, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Steve's life was marked by his kindness, resourcefulness, and generosity, touching the lives of all who knew him.
No services are scheduled at this time, all cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services.
Graduating from Central High, Steve went on to build a respected career as a concrete contractor. His work not only displayed his craftsmanship but also his dedication to building a strong community. He was a man who could fix anything and was always willing to lend a hand.
An avid outdoorsman, Steve found joy in hunting and fishing, passions he shared with his beloved sons, Travis, with his wife Kaitlyn, and Trevor, all of Duncan. Raising his children and later his grandchildren brought Steve immeasurable happiness. The legacy of his nurturing spirit and love of the outdoors will live on through them.
Steve is survived by his sons; grandson, Cameron Moreno of Duncan, his brother, Mitchell Hulen and wife Patty of Rowlett, TX; and sisters, Linda Simpson of Pennsylvania, Lisa Bullard of Broken Arrow, Tonya Parker and her husband Mark of Blanchard, Suzanne Hart of Blanchard, and Cindy Nunnery of Wichita Falls, TX. His extended family of nieces and nephews also hold dear the memory of their kind and generous uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Anita (Branch) Hulen, wife, Stephanie Hulen, and sister, Michelle Hulen.
Steve's life was a testament to the values of family, hard work, and the simple pleasures of being outdoors. His warm presence and open heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
