Steve Carl Krueger

Steve Carl Krueger of Del Valle, Texas passed away peacefully on August 12, 2022, in Austin, Texas. Steve was born on October 31, 1965, in Fresno California, the second oldest of four children to Wilbert and Alice Krueger.
On April 25, 1987, Steve married the love of his life Deanna Krueger. The two were married for 35 years and exemplified everything a marriage should be. He never missed an opportunity to tell her or anyone else who would listen just " WHAT A WOMAN" she was.
Together Steve and Deanna would have dozens of bonus children in their nieces and nephews. When not making one of them laugh, he was probably giving them a lighthearted lecture about OPK's (Other Peoples Kids).
While in the workforce, Steve spent most of his time doing landscaping at Cutting Edge Lawn Care. He loved his work but not as much as he loved fishing, that was his real passion! Any given weekend you would find Steve on the Colorado River with anyone he could drag onto his tin boat with him.
Steve had an enthusiasm for life and always sought the good, no matter what obstacles he faced. He was the life of the party and never wasted a day that he was given. He was many things to the people who were lucky enough to know him, a husband, son, brother, the fun uncle and even a "Mommy" Steve. He was a big man with an even bigger heart.
Steve was preceded in death by his Mother, Alice, Brother, Darrin, Sister, Barbara, Mother in law Melba, Sister- in- law Theresa and his two canine companions Pebbles and Charlie Duke.
Steve is survived by his wife Deanna Krueger, Father Wilbert Krueger, Father-in-law William Grohman, Sister Anita Harbourt and husband Ted, Sister-in-law Donna Betts. Nephews: William Harbourt, William Corley, Forest Corley, Craig Mason, Jonathan Mason, Spencer Mason. Nieces: Shawna Malone, Ashley Hanson, Krysti Olivares, Kayla Scroggs, Maddie Betts, Bethany White and numerous cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
