Steven “Steve” Osborne, 67, passed away on December 9, 2025, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and deep devotion to his family.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Gladys Osborne, and his siblings Larry Osborne, Wanda Graham, and Billy Wisdom. He is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor Osborne, who was the center of his world; his children Jennifer (Micheal Davis) Shaffer, Teresa Boyd, Kristy Osborne, and Cody Osborne; his special niece: Mary Beth Bond; and his special nephew, John Demastus. He was a proud grandfather to Will (Bailey) Shaffer, Thomas (Selena) Shaffer, and Shayla Boyd, and a cherished great-grandfather to Skylar, Jace, Everly, and Harley Shaffer.
A man with a big heart and an even bigger sense of humor, Steve was known for his quick wit, storytelling, and the joy he brought to every family gathering. He loved racing, fishing, grilling outdoors, and listening to music. He also took great pride in his truck and followed NASCAR and the Chargers with enthusiasm. Steve worked as the Maintenance Supervisor at Catamaran Cruisers, where his dedication and strong work ethic were evident to all who knew him.
Above all, Steve deeply loved his family. Time spent together—whether at celebrations, cookouts, or simple evenings at home—was what he treasured most.
Honorary pallbearers include Will Shaffer, Thomas Shaffer, Micheal Davis, Craig Crabtree, Donald Brymer Jr., George Shaffer, and Cody Osborne.
