Loetta Lee Osborne

Loetta Lee Osborne, age 85, of Sunbury, Ohio passed away Monday, December 8, 2025. On February 19, 1940, she was born in Mann, West Virginia to the late Ray Earnest and Nelly (Rice) Earnest.
Loetta was a hard-working lady who had a determined spirit. She enjoyed interior decorating and crafting clothing for the porch geese statues that everyone used to have fun dressing up for all the holiday seasons. Loetta even designed enough of these costumes she would attend craft shows and sell them to happy customers. She was an avid Buckeyes fan and loved watching the games with family.
Loetta regularly attended Genoa Baptist Church with her husband, Pat. They made many friends and cherished those relationships.
Loetta's proudest achievement was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a special person who will be forever remembered and missed by all who knew her.
Loetta is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Ashlee Gesacion, Morgan Michel, and Drew Osborne; beloved great-grandchildren, Brantley, Grady, and Finley Gesacion, & Mia and Andi Michel; brothers, Charles (Melba) Earnest and Ronnie (Wanda) Earnest; daughter-in-law, Susan Osborne; brother-in-law, Larry Cameron; nieces, Loetta Lynn, Wendy and Kim; and nephew, David.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Rudolph "Pat" Osborne; daughter, Cheri Osborne and son, Jimmy Osborne; parents, Ray and Nelly Earnest; brother, Glen Allen Earnest; sister, Jean Cameron; and nephew, Todd.
Friends and family are welcome to call on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 P.M. at Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Centerburg, Ohio. Pastor David Cahoon officiating.
