Steven Pippenger was born December 24, 1947 in Corinth, MS the son of the late Delbert and Bertha Wardlow Pippenger. He was united in marriage to Linda Osborn in March of 1969.
Steve was an avid fisherman, often spending time by the water each week when he was able. His passion for gardening was evident as he nurtured beautiful flowers and tended to tomato plants, among other vegetables. Beyond his hobbies, Steve had a keen interest in history, enjoyed the challenge of crossword puzzles, and spending time with family.
Mr. Pippenger departed this life on January 9, 2025 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 77 Years, 16 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Pippenger; children, Todd Pippenger and wife Darlene, Laura Settlemires and husband Harold; four grandchildren: Randall Pippenger, Lucas Pippenger, Connor Settlemires, Bell Settlemires; four great granddaughters: Lainey, Kenzlee, Lydia, and Avery Pippenger; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death by three sisters: Betty McKeel, Nedra King, and Linda Wolfe.
No public services will be held. Burial to take place in Michie Cemetery.
