Steve and I worked together many years at McFadden Ventures AKA McFadden Kendrick.
I believe we first met at Elan in Houston working with Frank Ryle and a host of other Second City characters too numerous to mention. It was the Disco years and discretion was usually an afterthought.
Steve saved my job on numerous occasions as I was less likely to adhere to strict company policies regarding in-house dating practices, LOL It was a different time and different attitude.
Steve and I were transferred and moved to Dallas to work at Elan and Confetti together with Frank Ryle. We worked together there for a couple of years. I was eventually transferred to Tampa Confetti and briefly lost track of Steve. I eventually left McFadden Ventures and started my own business, Dick's Wings.
After a couple of years working on Dick's Wings I get a phone call from Steve and low and behold he has moved to Saint Augustine a mere 30 miles from my home. Needless to say it was great to hook up with Steve again a familiar face who knows the business.
Steve was instrumental in the growth of Dick's Wings as I could always count on him for numbers and projections he was always good with numbers. I am saddened the fact that I was not more attentive to our friendship as we only lived 30 miles apart.
Steve, you will be missed my old friend.
Gods speed. Your friend
Rosie
