He was born on September 7, 1967 in Ft. Madison to Raymond and Karen Nutgrass Ruble. On February 13, 2021 Steve married Terry Bunker in Ft. Madison. He began working for BNSF Railroad in 2001. Steve loved to socialize and have beers with his friends. He enjoyed his motorcyles and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and Iowa Hawkeye fan.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Ruble of Ft. Madison; his father and step mother, Ray (Sue) Ruble of Springfield, MO; one sister, Shannon (John) Long of Poplar Grove, Il; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will meet with friends from 9-11 AM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside service will follow at 11:15 AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery with Reverend Gary Beckman officiating.
A memorial has been established for Lee County Hospice and online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com
