Mr. Steveance Santwain Tate was born on Thursday, October 25, 1990 in Augusta, GA to Ms. Martha Tate and Mr. Charles Mitchell. He departed this life on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Thomson, GA.
Steveance attended the public schools of McDuffie County, GA and was a 2010 graduate of the Thomson High School in Thomson, GA. He accepted Christ into his life and joined the Thankful Baptist Church of Gibson, GA.
He was preceded in death by a stepfather that raised him, Steven McCoy; a brother, Johnny Tate; a grandmother, Mary Alice Bell and an auntie, Diane Lucas. Steveance was a wonderful son, a great father. He was undeniably a great friend to many. Even in his demise, our love for him will always remain in our hearts. He will be truly missed by all who knew him during his earthly stay.
Precious memories will be cherished by those he leaves behind: one daughter, T'Brea Bell of Thomson, GA; two sons, Stekanye Tate and Santwain Bell, both of Thomson, GA; a loving and devoted mother, Martha Tate (Jerry) Berry of Thomson, GA; a loving father, Charles Mitchell of Columbia, SC; four sisters, Kiffaney Kea Neka Kendrick of Thomson, GA, Steviana McCoy, Na'Kiara V'Aunta Dukes, both of Warrenton, GA and Niyetroshia (Garvin) Thomas of Augusta, GA; three brothers, Jacquavious Leverous McCoy of Thomson, GA, Ja'Titus Keon Bogans of Augusta, GA and Daveion Young of Swainsboro, GA; a grandmother, Valene Griffin of Thomson, GA; two aunties, Tiffany (Joshua) Chapman of Grovetown, GA and Catherine Tate of Thomson, GA; six uncles, Daryl Lucas, Jimmy Ray Lucas, Willie (Marylene) Tate, Michael (Donna) Tate, Gene (Joyce) Harmon, all of Thomson, GA and Ricardo Bell of Warrenton, GA; four great-aunties, Kathleen Hall of Camak, GA, Velma (Larry) Shelley, Darlene Moss and Barbara Ann Lucas, all of Thomson, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
