Steven Dane Cowan

Steven Dane Cowan, age 31 of Brunswick, died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at his home. Steven was born on July 28, 1992 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Dana and Janet (Walgren) Cowan. He married Ericka Brianne McDowell on October 7, 2019 and she survives him.
Steven graduated from Lafayette County C1 at Higginsville and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marceline. He was self employed in tree service.
He is survived by his wife Ericka Cowan of the home in Brunswick, his mother Janet Tripp and Dan of Odessa, father Dana Cowan of Chillicothe, sons Korbin McDowell, Emmett Dowell of Brunswick, Adam Cowan of Warsaw, daughters, Brynlee Cowan of San Luis Obispo, California, Dawsyn Cowan of Warsaw, father-in-law and mother-in-law Sam and Sherry McDowell of Warsaw, grandparents, Glenda and Earl Hays of Brookfield, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by an infant son Darwin Cowan, grandfather Gary Walgren, and grandparents Darwin and Chris Cowan.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 PM Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline followed by a funeral service at 3 PM. Memorials may be made to Janet Tripp and these may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
