Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 16,2025 at First Baptist Church in Sweetwater with Pastor Tique Hamilton officiating. Cremation will follow the services. McCoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Steven was born January 20,1959 in Sweetwater to the late Charles Wayne and Patsy (Phelan) Crain. He married Rebecca June Digby February 7,1986 in Snyder. Steven worked for many years for TXU as an Electrician and then for Sudden Link. He is a graduate of Sweetwater High School and received his associate's degree from Angelo State University. Steven is a member of First Baptist Church in Sweetwater and has lived in Nolan County all his life.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years; Becky Crain of Maryneal, daughter; Casey Crain of Maryneal, son; Steven Cooper Crain of Maricopa, Arizona, four grandchildren; Summer, Brayden, Kailey and Maddox and his brother; Mike Crain and wife Benita of Sweetwater. Also survived by two nephews, three brothers-in-law; Jimmy Digby and wife Georgana of Snyder, Bo Digby and wife Jodie of Ira, Texas and Joe Digby of Snyder, sister-in-law; Liz Reeves and husband Steven of Roby and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Brayden Crain, Jimmy Digby, Billy Digby, David Digby, JP Digby and Jake Digby.
