Steven Harry Cutrer

Steven H. Cutrer, 70 passed away at The Crossing in Baton Rouge on Sunday November 10, 2024, after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was born February 28, 1954 in San Marcos, Texas. Steve retired from Baton Rouge City Police and was working as security for the Senate at the Louisiana State Capitol. Steve enjoyed tending the yard, spending time with family, and spoiling his pups. He loved classic music, his drums, motorcycles, crawfish, the Beach, laughing, and spent the best of times with his grandchildren. Steve was stoic, strong, generous and loving. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Cathy; mother Mary Cutrer, sons Matthew (Valerie); Wesley (Melissa); brother Jim (Tricia); sister Stacy (Randy), sister-in-law Joanne; grandchildren, Emily, Reagan, Tyler, Dylan, Allyson, and Seth ; and his beloved dogs, Lily and Phoebe. Also survived by best friend Mark Clarke and sister-in law Jacki Champagne. Proceeded in death by father Jack Cutrer Sr. and brother Jack Cutrer Jr. Arrangements pending.
