Steven Robert Hall passed away on Monday October 13, 2025 surrounded by loved ones after a short illness.
Steven was born on December 9, 1967 at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. His youth was spent in Fruit Heights, Utah where he was an active member of his church, schools, and friend groups. While in junior high school he made friends who have remained close friends throughout his life. His education continued at Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah where his circle of friends continued to expand. He especially enjoyed being part of the football team as the manager.
Steven was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America program. Steven served a mission in the Missouri Independence Mission. When he returned, he attended both Weber State College in Ogden and Dixie College in St George, Utah. Steven married Lisa Carlson on January 12, 2001; they later divorced.
He settled in Clearfield, Utah as home for him and his sons. Steven worked at Orbital ATK/ Northrop Grumman for the last 10 years helping build airplane components. He loved to read books and watch movies, and be with his family and friends.
Steven was a diligent and dedicated man. Dedicated to his faith, his work, but mostly to his two sons. Steven loved being a dad to Carson and Zach. He was always happy to share a story or adventure of when the boys were together.
Steven is survived by his sons Carson David Hall and Zachary Steven Hall. Also, by his siblings Grant Hall, Douglas (Claudia) Hall, Carolyn Hall, James (Tina) Hall, and Allen (Youngsun) Hall. His parents Lowell Ray Hall and Sarah Jane Atkerson Hall preceded Steven in death.
The family would like to thank Ogden Regional Hospital’s ICU staff for their kindness and professionalism in caring for Steven.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clearfield 4th Ward Chapel, 838 E. 600 S., Clearfield Utah. Family and friends may visit Friday October 24, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street, Kaysville, Utah and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Farmington City Cemetery following the memorial service. 500 South 200 East, Farmington, Utah
