Steven Hurtt Obituary

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Hurtt, Des Plaines, IL., where he was born, April 26, 1951. Steve was a huge Chicago Bear fan. He moved to Texas in his mid-twenties. There, he met his wife, Debra Deal Hurtt. They settled in Lake Dallas, Texas, where they raised their children, Rawlin and Jennifer Hurtt. The Hurtts were devoted to the Lake Dallas community. Steve poured his heart into his children's activities, including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, baseball, softball, and the Lake Dallas bands.
Steve was a natural born salesman and excelled in his career choice. He worked hard to provide for his family. Upon retirement, the family moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, where they built their dream home in the beautiful woods.
Steve is survived by wife Debbie, son Rawlin, daughter Jennifer, and his "best buddy" grandson Wyatt. Steve requested to be cremated. His wishes will be carried out by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, in Hot Springs, Arkansas
A memorial service will be held in Lake Dallas, Texas, at a later date.
