Steven "Chad" Ingram

Steven "Chad" Ingram, age 49, entered Heaven's gates on Saturday, May 27, 2023. He passed away in his sleep at home.
Chad was born in Pensacola on April 16, 1974 to Ruth and Steve Ingram. He graduated from Pine Forest High school in 1992. He attended University of South Alabama. He was co-owner of Master Insulation in Pensacola.
Chad met his wife, Jennifer, on the Bellview Middle School bus. They became best friends throughout high school, began dating in college and married in 1997. They went on to have four amazing children and were married for 26 years.
He was a passionate outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He would be at his family's hunting camp in Alabama every chance he had. He loved deeply, especially his wife and children. He put his blood sweat and tears into proving for his family and giving them a secure, adventurous life. He was a teddy bear with a big personality, amazing sense of humor and was all about making wonderful memories with no embarrassment or shame just to get a laugh. He took pride into mentoring young men and being a father figure to so many. With his extreme work ethic, he was always ready for any potential business opportunity that came his way. He was strong in his faith since his son's passing and was quick to give advice and encourage others who go through difficult times. He was uplifting, positive and was the glue that kept his family close. He always said God gave him big shoulders to carry everyone's problems.
He is preceded in death by his son, Peyton, and his grandparents, Don and Mable Ward and Earl and Vera Ingram.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer; his children Camden, Savannah and Bristol; his parents, Ruthie and Steve Ingram; his sister, Deanna Grubbs Mother and father-in-law, Larry (Shirley) Peterson; sister and brother-in-law, Ron (Gena) Sonnier; nieces, Courtney DuCharme (Logan), Darian Hooper; nephews, Caleb Hooper and Cameron Sonnier. He left behind many special family members and countless friends and co-workers.
Memorial services will be at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South on Monday, June 5. Public viewing will be at 12:00 pm with funeral services at 1:00 pm, with Jeff Spooneybarger officiating. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
