Steven Dallas Jeppson

March 4, 1939 - December 18, 2025

With hearts full of love and memories, we honor the life of Steven Dallas Jeppson, who was born on March 4, 1939, in Brigham City, Utah to Dallas Earl and Shirley Tubbs Jeppson. Steve lived a life filled with joy and purpose until his departure on December 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1958 as an all-star football player. He later

attended Stevens Henegar College, Utah State University, and received his bachelor's degree from Weber State University.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a two-year mission in his youth to the Western States Mission in Colorado and New Mexico. He proudly served his country by joining the Marine Corp Reserves.

He married Ann Wheatley in 1963 and together they had four children. They later divorced. He married Jolene Elaine Torman in 1984 and she brought her 2 children to the family.

Steve worked for the IRS for 40 years and retired as a Revenue Agent in 2006. He was a man of the outdoors and enjoyed being outside whenever he could. He loved farming, gardening, camping and 4 wheeling, and his hunting and camping trips were the highlight of his year. Steve had a special place in his heart for horses and loved conversing with his animals while tending to their needs. Steve was immensely proud of all of his children and grandchildren and loved sharing in their milestones.

Steve is survived by his wife Jolene, his children Julie Morgen (Michael), of Horse Shoe Bend, Idaho, Jeffrey Jeppson of Brigham City, Jodie Scott (Bryan) of Boerne, Texas, Jackie Potter (Kevin) of Brigham City, his step-daughters Kim Ramsay (Mike) and Keri Colvell, both of Brigham City, and his sister, Barbara Gale (Kent) of Ogden. He also has 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his older sister Dalene Scothern.
