Steven Jones Obituary

He was an avid OU football fan, loved to go fishing. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
Stephen lived in Mission, South Dakota from 1980 to 2008. He worked as a school counselor until retirement.
Stephen is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Cloudman; parents; and a brother Brian Jones.
He is survived by three grandchildren, Tommy Small Bear, Sunnie Haukaas, Gage Eagle Road; siblings, Jean Larney of Wewoka, OK, Marion Jones of Wetumka, OK, Lynn Jones of Bowlegs, OK, Marilyn Fleming of Tulsa, OK; aunt, Dorothy Harjo of Seminole, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Wake service will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 29, 2023 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, OK.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Pastor Curtis Kinney officiating, assisted by Elder Farrell Smith. Interment to follow at Johnson Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.
Pallbearers: Jeremy Larney, Phillip Johnson, Tyler Jones, Louis Lena Jr., Greg Poafpybitty, Katcv Jones.
Honorary pallbearers: Kevin Larney, Louis Lena Sr., Benny Lena, Cecil Larney, Robert Fixico, Adam Johnson, Adan Johnson.
