I remember Steve back in the day playing touch football behind St. Anthony´s church. He always had a smile on his face.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Mac. I have so many amazing memories playing soccer at Revere High with him as the coach. We had the best time, he made everything so much more fun and had such a warm personality. My condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Mac!!!! You were the best soccer coach! You cared about us so much, and we loved you too! I´m really sad knowing the world lost such a special person. I don´t have memories of RHS soccer without your sense of humor and kindness, all of which I remember fondly. Sending my love and condolences to your family.
Rest easy, Mac.
Love, Diana Quarantello c/o 03

Incrediblely sorry to hear of Coach Mac's passing! I am forever greatful for the wonderful high school memories of RHS girl's soccer made possible by Coach Mac. We might not have been the best team, but Mac believed in us and dedicated his time to support us. Sending love and light

I am so sorry to hear of Coach Mac´s passing! He is someone that always comes to mind when I think about soccer. I remember meeting him as a freshman at RHS. I was initially so intimidated but was quick to learn of his humorous and compassionate personality. Sending all my love! Kendell Zullo RHS C´O 2008

I have known Steven, "Big Mac". Big Mac no cheese or just plain Mac for over 50 years. He had many other nick names but I don´t have the space or the time to put them all in print. A greater guy you will never find. We would work. We would work Christmas Eve at the Boston Garden Parking lot and his mother and mine would send us in something to eat that could have fed 1/2 the garden crowed. I have so many stories together that I could fill the page with them. But to know him was to love him and right from the get go we all knew we would be friends with him for life. The rides we took going into work were classics. Say no m oh re. Rest in peace my dear friend and save us all a seat at your table for a Celebratory meal when we all meet up again. Love you Mac.

My cousin was always such a great guy. I saw him every time I went to my aunt's house and he was always so kind and caring and loving. He also loved his work and the kids that he worked with. He was definitely a hero for children. I grew up with him my entire life and I will miss him dearly.

Mr.Mac aka Big Mac to the RHS soccer girls. You taught me everything I ever knew about soccer. I remember you taught me how to dive and you were on your hands and knees and said if you dive over me and hit me your whole team is running the whole practice. Believe it or not I cherished that very drill and used that skill to teach other children how to dive. I can´t believe you are gone. You were the best! I had the pleasure of knowing little Mac (your brother) as a soccer coach too! Mr. Mac you will be missed! You will always be remembered. Thank you for all you did for us and for the Revere High girls Soccer team 1992-1996! Rest easy! My condolences to your whole family!
