Steven Richard Perillo, 68, of Bushkill, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Una Marie (Walsh) and prior to that of the late Sandra (Kays) Perillo. Born in Brooklyn, New York he was the son of the late Dominick and Martha (Richard) Perillo.
Steven was a wonderful man, full of life and laughter. Never one to turn down a chance to crack a joke and make someone smile, he was often the one most looked for at a party. Steve enjoyed working on anything he could get his hands on; house projects, cars, or his beloved motorcycle- to name a few. Rebuilding his classic GTO, going on motorcycle rides, and cooking for guests were favorite pastimes of his. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet Steve quickly learned of his ferocious wit and sense of humor. To those who were lucky enough to know him more closely, his giant teddy bear heart is what drew us to him. Always willing to lend a helping hand, or a sarcastic remark, Steve's presence was a loving one. Steven Perillo has left a lasting blaze on the world and he will be missed by all.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his sons: Steven Perillo, Jr and Bryan Perillo, both of Marshalls Creek; sister; Linda Acker and her husband, Glen, of Newton, New Jersey; and many beloved friends.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home,Inc. 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA, 18360. Father Gregory A. Reichlen will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Church of St. John, 5171 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302.
