Stevie Raymond Harris

Stevie Raymond Harris, 44, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Salisbury, North Carolina on August 11, 2025. Stevie was born on November 3, 1980, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Stevie is survived by his mother, Anita Harrisonl sister, Mariea Harris; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Wylie "Joe" Harris and maternal grandmother, Edith James.

Stevie attended West Mecklenburg High School and earned his GED from Gaston College. He worked as a commercial freezer technician at PSI Refrigeration. Stevie was known for being really good with his hands and working on different types of vehicles and small engines. He was caring and funny. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and putting together model cars, collecting knives and guns and reading the Bible.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Whitesell Funeral Home and Cremation in Rock Hill, South Carolina from 2 PM to 4 PM. You can watch a livestream at this link: https://www.facebook.com/PalmettoFuneralGroup
