Sandra "Sue" Doucette, age 82, a lifelong Antigo resident, died on August 16, 2025 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on November 6, 1942, a daughter of John and Mary (Huncovsky) Doucette.

Sue was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1961.

She worked for the unemployment office in Madison and then later in Wausau where she worked until her retirement.

Sue was a member of St. John Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering at church.

She took yearly trips with her brother, Gordon, to visit family and enjoyed going to sporting events, concerts at Music in the Park and at the Grand Theater in Wausau. She was also a member of the Antigo Music Association. Sue treasured her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her sister, Carol Fisher; nieces and nephews, Diane (Glenn) Weberpal, Steve Fisher, and Joanie Fisher all of Antigo, Barb (John) Koskovich of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Donna (Mick) Prather, Deb (Monte) Hoffmeyer, Linda (Arlo) Anderson, and Gary (Michelle) Jacobson all of Estherville, Iowa, Jeffrey Hofmann and Fred (Stacey) Hofmann both of Antigo, Jamie (Ray) Carver of Oshkosh, John Doucette, Danielle Ardito, and Debbie Holbein.

Sue is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, Liz, Matt, Kyle, Paul, Erin, Trent, Cody, Ryan, Paige, Josh, Jamie, Jordan, Taylar, Trey, Cory, Tanya, Sara, Austin, Tyler, Justin, Trevin, Kohlten, Jake, Lauren, Erin and Jeffrey; and nephews-in-law, Parker Hillery and Brent Hipke.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Dolores Doucette, Shirley (Arnie) Jacobson and Mary Ann (Jim) Hofmann; two brothers, Gordon Doucette and Jerry (Janet) Doucette; a brother-in-law, Alvin Fisher; and nieces, Lisa Hillery and Jackie Hipke.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Reverend Charles Hoffmann and Rev. Kamal Gopu officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church in Hoffmann Hall.

Sue's family would like to thank the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for their compassionate and loving care during Sue's stay.
