Sue Forster Lesan of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at the age of 63. She was born in Slaton on January 16, 1950 to the late Gee and Hartwell (Chilton) Baird. She graduated from Lubbock High School in 1968 and went on to specialize in home healthcare as a nurse for over 25 years. Sue married Glenn Forster in 1969. After 37 years of marriage, he preceded her in death in 2006. Sue married Doug Lesan in October 2007. She was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Doug; sons, Anthony Forster and Kyle Forster and wife Andrea, all of Lubbock; daughter, Nicole Cook and husband Scott of Lubbock; brother, Gary Baird of Denton; sister, Billy Jean Dewhirst of Lubbock; and two grandchildren, Austin Forster and Zachary Cook.
Viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
