Sue Ann Markham

Sue Ann Markham, 81, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on October 9, 2025. She was born on June 14, 1944 in Hartford City, Indiana to Harold Eldo Kitterman and Anna Louise (Sutton) Kitterman.
Sue worked as a customer service representative for Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years. She attended Capital City Baptist Church and had many friends there. She was a HUGE IU basketball fan. She loved Football and was a Colts and Notre Dame fan.
Sue never met a stranger. She loved her son and grandkids very much. She loved being a Granny more than anything. In her spare time from helping with kids she collected donations for Hoosier Veteran Assistance Fund and again continued this in Albuquerque, which included a local food panntry. She loved to give back and help those in need.
Sue is survived by son, F. Tommy (Mary) Markham; grandchildren, Erin Markham, Leslie (Josh) Day; Sean Markham, Bailey Jo Markham and Isabella Sue Markham; great grandchildren, Hyleigh Grace Stiles, Daymon Day, Devin Crawford and Darin Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy E. "Butch" Markham; and brother, James Kitterman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 11:30 am until the time of service at 2:30 pm at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
Sue will be laid to rest in The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery and Mausoleum Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation.
