Susan Lyn Cooper, age 58, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
Susan is survived by her beloved husband, Craig Cooper; sons, Dakota (Ashlee) Cooper and Cade Cooper; her mother, Helen Kansfield; siblings, Teri Snyders, Kurt Hultsch, and Kris Hultsch; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Herbert Hultsch; and her sister, Cheryl Glavor.
Susan was a positive and kind person who was full of life, and knew how to enjoy it. She was a boisterous person who lived life with fierce passion, she was a loving mother and a wonderful wife. Susan and Craig were high school sweethearts and were together for 44 years. Susan loved riding motorcycles, gardening, any kind of project, and cooking. Especially her famous Friday night pizzas and her cookie pudding. Susan was a kind and sweet person and will be missed by all that knew her.
Services for Susan will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. in New Lenox, on Monday, March 11, 2024 with a visitation from 4pm until the time of the service at 7:30pm.
