She was a gifted seamstress who loved crafting and enjoyed crocheting, doll dresses, and flowers.
There will be no formal services for Susan and any future services will be announced by her family.
Susan Kathleen Floyd, 77, of Columbia passed away on May 30, 2025. She was born in Lancaster to the late Lloyd and Patricia Connely Demmy and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Susan was a graduate of Manheim Central High School with the Class of 1966 and was a homemaker who was a loving caretaker of her family and late husband. She was a gifted seamstress who loved crafting and enjoyed crocheting, doll dresses, and flowers. Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.
Susan leaves behind four children, Michael, husband of Deb Floyd of Conestoga, Jennifer, wife of Jon McWilliams of York, Kathleen, wife of Paul Frey of Ephrata, Diane Floyd of Columbia; three grandchildren, Grace, Marie, and Trevor; three siblings, Barbara Mull of Lititz, Judy, wife of Kevin Miller of New Jersey, David, husband of Maryann Demmy of Maytown; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Floyd in 2010, an infant son, John Floyd, and a brother Tom Demmy.
There will be no formal services for Susan and any future services will be announced by her family. Kindly omit flowers.
