Susan Lee Hartsough, 67, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Born October 13, 1956 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Oma Josephine "Dody" (Fouts) Conway.
Sue was a lifelong Twin City resident and a 1975 graduate of Claymont High School. Over the course of 47 years, she was a cook for Schoenbrunn Healthcare – formerly Valley Manor and Morning View – in New Philadelphia. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister who treasured the time that she spent with her family. She also loved shopping and going to yard sales, cooking, caring for and decorating her home, and in recent years, YouTube surfing. Her happiest times were when she and her husband would spend days at the beach, which always included browsing in the local shops, of course!
On June 15, 1985, Sue married Steven D. Hartsough who survives her. She also leaves behind her son, Tyson L. Sharkey, and granddog, Diesel; her sisters, Sandra Long and Sherry (Steve) Applegarth; nieces, Nicole Miller and Brandy (Clarence) Kramer; great-nieces, Cierra and Madison Kramer, and Olivia (Chris) Sunderman; and great-great-niece, Anastasia.
Pastor Steve Adams will officiate a 1:00 p.m. funeral on Friday, May 10, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison where Sue's family will receive callers from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to their favorite charity.
