Susan Hunt, 89, of Bergen, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Hunt was born April 19, 1936, in Java, NY, a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Murphy) McGee.

Susan graduated from Arcade High School and married the love of her life, Warren Hunt Sr., on October 6, 1962. She worked with her husband all her life on the family dairy farm (milking cows into her late 70's) and was the cafeteria manager at the Byron-Bergen Schools until her retirement. Susan loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed being a grandmother.

She was long time member of St. Vincent's Church, Churchville. Susan was a strong, dependable, and hardworking woman, who enjoyed sewing, gardening flowers, and watching Hallmark movies.

Surviving is her children, Nancy Hunt of Ontario, Warren (Lauren) Hunt Jr. of Byron, Diane (Tom) Corcoran of Caledonia, and Joanne (Tim) Horine of Pavilion; Grandchildren, Mathew Horine, Lindsay Horine, Hannah Hunt, Hailey Hunt, and Heidi Hunt; many nieces and nephews.

Susan is reunited in death with her husband, Warren Hunt Sr.; parents, William and Margaret McGee; siblings, Regina Meyer, William McGee, and Catherine Schaefer.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated at St. Brigid Church, 18 Gibson St, Bergen, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Immediately following Mass, Susan will be laid to rest next to her husband in Riga Cemetery, 970 Churchville Riga Rd, Churchville, NY 14428.
