She was born August 11, 1949 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Eugene W. and Francine M. (LaGrange) Ripley. Susan married Jerry Kurts on may 1, 2005. He predeceased her on September 14, 2007.
Susan was a very gifted artist, writer, animal lover and was a free spirit. She loved traveling out West. Susan was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughters, Tina (David) Belt of Denver, CO, and Tara (Braulio) Maximiliano of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Benicio, Alyssa, Nolan and Hunter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Sandra Severson.
"She lived by Bob Ross's quote, "There are no mistakes in life just happy little accidents."
Per Susan's wishes there will be no services.
