In Loving Memory of Susan Delli-Thompson
Susan Delli-Thompson of Elgin, Illinois, passed peacefully from this life surrounded by the family she so deeply cherished. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Susan touched countless lives with her warmth, humor, and unwavering love.
She was the devoted mother of Jason Thompson, Shawn Ceryance (Jamie), and Chris Thompson (Kerri Scrivner); proud grandmother of Timothy Ceryance (Emily), Anthony Ceryance, and Tyler Thompson; doting great-grandmother to Cameron Ceryance; and loving sister to Paula Calzolari and Delio Calzolari Jr.
In the next life, she joins her father, William Delli Sr.; her mother, Marilyn Calzolari; and her brother, William Delli Jr.
For Susan, family was everything. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by her loved ones, laughing, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. If you were fortunate enough to know her, you experienced firsthand the magic she brought into every room. With a quick-witted comment, a tight hug, or her unmistakable laugh, Susan made people feel special, seen, and loved.
She had a tremendous love for animals, a passion for music, and never missed a chance to dance along to her favorite songs. She celebrated life in every moment, turning even the simplest occasions into joyful events filled with laughter and heart.
Susan’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and joy. She was the heartbeat of her family, the light in many lives, and the person who always left others better than she found them. Though she is deeply missed here on earth, her spirit lives on in every life she touched and every memory shared.
May her laughter echo in our hearts forever, and may we honor her by loving others as fiercely as she did.
