Susan Ibbye Winders, 76 of West Columbia went home to be with the Lord Monday February 20 2023
She passed away at home with family by her side.
Susan attended A.C. Flora High School. She worked for the state in the IT support (SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs) for over 30 years. Susan is the daughter of the late Harry E. Winders and Jean Kinsey Winders. Predeased by her brother H.E. Winders, Jr. and son, William "Billy" G. Lisenby, Jr.. Surviving are daughters, Kellye G. Cook of Columbia and Sabra Jane Hayes (James) of Gaston
Brothers, James D Winders (Sandy) of Lake Wateree and John Reid Winders (Angie) of Georgia;
Grandchildren Tyler Lyn Haselden, Abigail Jane Haselden, James Landon Hayes of Gaston, Chandler A Cook of Gaston, Cody A. Cook of Utah, Bailey A. Lisenby of Columbia
Great grandchildren, Wydler Lyn Haselden of Gaston, Ibbye Grace Cook, Charles Kenneth Turner III And Nora Elizabeth Turner all of Gaston and many nieces and nephews and Extended family.
Susan was a member of Congaree Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, loved trivia and movies. Most of all she loved her family. She opened her heart and home to anyone in need.
