Suzanne Carol Brunson

Suzanne Carol Brunson, 72, of Riley Township, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Beaumont Hospital, Troy.
She was born May 22, 1951, in Detroit, the daughter of the late Gerald and Denise (Charlebois) O'Neil.
Her marriage to Gregory Alan Brunson was May 28, 2005, in Riley Township.
Suzanne worked as a nurse for over 40 years in various departments but spent her last years working in geriatrics before her retirement. She was an avid hockey mom and fan, dance mom, girl scout leader, and dog lover. Suzanne was active in the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving in addition to her husband Gregory of 19 years are two children, Heather (Matthew) Schepperly and Scott Mazza; grandchildren, Hunter and Piper Schepperly; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Barbara O'Neil; as well as her lifelong best friend, Dorothy Kolar.
The family honors the memory of Suzanne and invites you to visit and share memories Monday, January 29, 2024, from 2:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with rosary devotion/scripture services at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Parish, Memphis, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Msgr. Patrick Halfpenny will officiate. Burial will be in St. Philip Neri Cemetery, Columbus Township.
