Suzanne R. Kostka
Suzanne died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 77 from complications related to cancer. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 1, 1945 to the late Ralph and Ruth (nee Kleinow) Stellman. Sue met the love of her life, Wayne Kostka at Pulaski High School. They were married at West Allis United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 10, 1967. Sue worked for the City of Milwaukee and later the State of Wisconsin as a secretary. She completed her career as an administrative assistant for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. Suzanne loved spending time with her children and watching her grandchildren grow.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Wayne Kostka. Suzanne is survived by her son Craig Kostka (Melissa); daughter, Kristine Tobianski; grandchildren Brandon Kostka (Samantha), John Powless, Madelyn Kostka, Abigail Kostka, and Brody Tobianski; brother Scott Stellman (Michael); great granddaughter Fionola Kostka.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, May 5, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 15250 W. National Avenue, New Berlin, from 3:00-5:00 PM. A celebration of Sue's life will begin at 5:00 PM.
