Suzen Sandra Robin-Peterson (née House), age 74, passed away peacefully on July
15, 2025, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Born on December 28, 1950, in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, Suzen lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to
her family.
Suzen is survived by daughters Nicole Robin and Penny (Adam)Nelson; sons
Christopher Peterson, Sanford (Elizabeth) Peterson, and Benjamin Peterson; and
grandchildren Thomas Peterson, Nicolas Peterson, Leonardo Peterson, Izabella
Peterson, Scarlett Peterson, Alexander Peterson, Lincoln Nelson, and Carter Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Peterson; son Thomas Peterson;
grandson Wyatt Peterson; parents Thomas and Helen House; brothers Thomas
(Phyllis) House, Donald (Yvonne) House, and Jerry (Betty) House; and mother-in-law
Ellen Austin.
Suzen was an amazing mother and grandmother who had a fun-loving spirit and
nurturing heart. She loved children and found joy in simple pleasures: capturing
moments through photography, tending to her garden, losing herself in books, and
creating lasting memories during holidays and family vacations. The eternal host, her
home was always a place you felt welcome and left full.
She loved a good piece of fried chicken more than anyone.
She was the heart and soul of our family, and her absence cannot ever be filled.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on July 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Crystal V.F.W,
5222 Bass Lake Rd. Celebration of Life immediately to follow.
