Sylvia Falcon Meden passed peacefully on November 29th, 2023 after 14 months of valiantly battling brain cancer.
Sylvia grew up in New York with her parents, Cesar and Elizabeth Falcon and three siblings, Oscar Falcon, Elizabeth La Rosa, and Caesar Falcon, where she attended school and later college where she met her husband, Walter Meden.
Walter and Sylvia were married and sealed for all time and eternity in the Washington D.C. Temple on April 20, 1989. Years later, after Walter completed dental school at NYU and his post-graduate residency, Walter and Sylvia relocated to Utah to start a family and later establish their dental practice where Sylvia served as Office Manager. She also held numerous church callings, having had a a stron upbringing in the gospel, where she had a lasting impact on those she served.
Sylvia was a devoted wife and mother of her two children, Kayley and Jared whom she adored. She had a strong but gentle spirit and silently served those around her. Many who knew her were fond of her unique capability to comfort those in time of need and admired her strong testimony of the gospel.
She enjoyed the simple yet finer things in life, like mint chip Cold Stone ice cream and movies, traveling to warm places with beautiful beaches, cooking, writing poetry, jamming to The Beatles and her favorite 80s music, and spending quality time with her close friends and family.
Sylvia is survived by her husband and two children who miss her greatly and look forward to reuniting with her someday.
