Mrs. Sylvia Mishoe, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at MUSC.
Born November 15, 1948 in Conway, she was the daughter of the late Vonzie Parker Gore and Donnie Todd Gore. Mrs. Mishoe was a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church where she served in many capacities. She was a teacher and caretaker to numerous children in the community.
Mrs. Mishoe was a loving and faithful wife, mother, and Nana. She loved to greet everyone with smile and a hug and was a friend to all who knew her.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Mishoe was predeceased by three brothers, Charles Gore, Lynwood Gore, and Jimmy Gore and one sister, Bernice Todd.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Randy O. Mishoe of Loris; two daughters, Stacey Nixon and Rose Gore (Joseph), all of Loris; four grandchildren, Nathan Hartley, Timmothy Mishoe (Makayla), Madison Hartley (Edwin), and Kaylee Bennett, all of Loris; and several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Cherry Hill Baptist Church with Rev. John Holmes and Rev. Joey Price officiating. Burial will follow at Cherry Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church.
