Sylvia Rocha Obituary
November 28, 1954 – October 13, 2025
Sylvia Castillo Rocha, a loving, kind, and strong woman whose warmth touched so many, passed away on October 13th surrounded by her immediate family.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Rocha; her daughter, Adrianne Rocha; and her two cherished grandchildren, Roman and Ava Perez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Rocha.
Throughout her life, Sylvia showed extraordinary compassion, resilience, and devotion. She worked for Houston Lighting & Power Company-now known as Reliant Energy-for many years, followed by her dedicated service with La Porte Independent School District. Sylvia gracefully balanced her career with her role as a caregiver to her husband during his long illness, all while being a steadfast source of love and support to her children and grandchildren.
Her heart was gentle yet strong, her laughter contagious, and her smile could light up any room. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her sense of humor, and the kindness she shared so freely. Sylvia will remain forever in our hearts.
