Sylvia Elaine Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.
Elaine was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Lee Williams, who passed in the 1980s, and her second husband, Postell Curtis Key, who passed in May 2024. Though she remarried, Elaine proudly kept the Williams name throughout her life. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Pearl Gibbs Bagley and Robert Lee Bagley, and her brother, Robert Gibbs Bagley.
Elaine is survived by her loving children: Shane Lee Williams of Panama City Beach, and Jamey and Tracy Key of Martin, Georgia. She was a proud grandmother to Caroline Lainey Williams and Jessica Leann Key. She also leaves behind her dear sister-in-law, Dottie Bagley, as well as many cherished extended family members and friends.
Elaine dedicated 32 years of service to Sears and Roebuck, followed by 13 years with the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department before retiring to Panama City Beach. She was known for her passion for interior decorating, her warm heart, and the joy she found in spending time with her loved ones.
Elaine's kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral services for Elaine will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory with Rev. Harris Presley officiating.
