Tabitha Lynn Chase, 39, of Farmersburg, Iowa passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at her home in Farmersburg. She was born March 5, 1985 to Joseph and Deborah (Hendrickson) Pozanc in Rancho Cordova, California.
Tabitha graduated in 2003 from MFL Mar-Mac in Monona, Iowa. On May 14, 2016, Tabitha was united in marriage with Zach Chase in Guttenberg, Iowa. Along with being a full time mom to six children, Tabitha was also a Rural Route Mail Carrier and Volunteer Firefighter.
She loved Halloween, was a huge movie buff and enjoyed collecting polar bears and snow globes. Tabitha had an energy and way about her that could light up a room and a smile that could throw sunlight on the darkest days. Tabitha put everyone's needs in front of her own and always made sure the people around her were good. Food was her love language, as many of her neighbors and family knew. She often thought she could be a professional chef as long as she didn't have to do the dishes after. Tabitha prided herself as being the host to game night. It always brought people together. She enjoyed playing Uno, Eukure, Phase 10, and her favorite game, Name that Song. Tabitha's kids were her world, never missing a game, event, or lesson. She was always there.
Tabitha is survived by her husband, Zach Chase of Farmersburg; her six children, Jadelynn, Jensen, Jaxon, Emma, Jameson and Waylon; parents, Joseph and Deborah Pozanc of Volney; grandparents, James and Karon Hendrickson of McGregor, and Irene Pozanc of Winona, Minnesota; one sister, Kaleena (Dan) Langreck of West Union and two brothers Thomas Pozanc and Curtis Pozanc of Winona, Minnesota.
Tabitha was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Donald and Gladys Bollman; and grandfather, John Pozanc.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
